Smart Alarm System

Problem: In an increasingly connected world, design an 'internet of things' inspired security device.  

​Solution: This smart alarm connects to various add-on devices: including motion sensors, cameras and contact sensors, using a long range encrypted signal. The base station connects to your mobile device over WiFi and is controlled through the Texecom app. 

Material: Plastic. 

Context: Second year university project.
